Introduction to Composite Manufacturing: 2- Day Program

Our 2- Day Program:

Our program instructors inspire students to further investigate careers in advanced manufacturing. We provide students with the key information needed to make decisions regarding the wide variety of available career paths, from production technicians to engineers. Industry applications span racing bikes to automotive body repair, defense contractors to offshore wind. Composite manufacturing is driving all sorts of new opportunities. Class includes both hands-on and lecture components and a tour of the exhibits at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, with an emphasis on the importance of materials in the evolution of aviation innovation. Eligibility is simple. Anyone 18 years of age or older not currently enrolled at an educational institution + a desire to work with your hands and a knowledge of basic math is all you need. Students must be able to get to the training site in Garden City. Hours are 8:30am to 4pm.
